Dear [firstname],

The feelings of pain, anger, and frustration are rippling across our community and nation are justified and overwhelming. People all over our country are protesting and mourning the loss of lives due to systemic racism and police brutality. Our nation desperately needs leadership during these trying times, and a bold, comprehensive approach to hold police accountable, end racial profiling, and address systemic racism and bias to save lives.

As I continue to fight for these issues, I want to hear from you. In my message on June 4, I asked El Pasoans to share their thoughts. I received feedback and ideas and want to ensure we continue this critical conversation.
