Congresswoman Veronica Escobar will host a virtual conversation, themed “What Does the El Paso Region Need to do to Aggressively Combat COVID-19?” with two nationally recognized public health experts and the Paso del Norte region’s government, business and civic leaders on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 10 a.m. MT.

Congresswoman Escobar will be joined by Dr. Scott Gottlieb and Dr. James Hildreth who will discuss the increased vulnerabilities of COVID-19 and share information about what tools and strategies the El Paso region can deploy in order to protect its residents.

Following the conversation, Dr. Gottlieb and Dr. Hildreth will take questions from a virtual audience composed of the Paso del Norte region’s leaders.
