Premium Notices
My top priority in Congress is lowering your cost of living and making life more affordable for
you and your family.
If Donald Trump and Republicans continue to stonewall,
insurance premiums
will double
because of expiring health care tax credits. The tax credits are often the only thing that allow
millions of Americans
to
afford a doctor’s visit
, care after an accident, or prescriptions for their
kids
.
Without
these tax credits
, more than 92,000
people across El Paso could
be forced to pay
more for their health care premiums.
As health insurance providers start to send out notices informing families what their premium will be next year,
I'm asking El Pasoans to share their stories with me so we can continue to bring attention to how rising prices will hurt our community if Congress doesn't act now.
You can share any information below or email me at veronica.escobar@mail.house.gov with photos of your insurance notices, video of you or your family explaining why rising healthcare costs would be damaging, or anything else you'd like me to uplift on social media!
