Congresswoman Escobar Announces 2023 Congressional Art Competition Winners

Today, Congresswoman Veronica Escobar (TX-16) announced the winners of the 2023 Congressional Art Competition. This comes after she hosted a showcase and reception in El Paso recently in which Azenette Hernandez, a senior at Eastwood High School was chosen as the winner for her piece “Mi Querido Apa.”

“It is my pleasure to congratulate Azenette and all the aspiring young artists for enriching the 2023 Congressional Art Competition with their talent, creativity, and skills,” said Congresswoman Escobar. “I would like to thank the judges, teachers, family members, and of course, the artists for their dedication to the arts and participation in this competition. I cannot wait to see Azenette again in DC and admire her artwork in our Capitol.”
