Today, Congresswoman Veronica Escobar (TX-16), member of the House Judiciary Committee, issued the following statement on Attorney General William Barr’s letter summarizing Special Counsel Robert Mueller's final report:

“Today, I join the American people and my colleagues in the House of Representatives to demand the release of the full Special Counsel report and underlying evidence of the investigation.

“Many questions remain unanswered, and it’s imperative that Congress fulfills its constitutional duty to promote the transparency and accountability that El Pasoans and Americans across the country deserve and are urgently calling for.

“As a member of the House Judiciary Committee, I look forward to working to obtain those answers.”
