Congresswoman Escobar Launches Thank You Notes to El Paso Heroes
El Paso, TX,
December 15, 2020
Today, Congresswoman Veronica Escobar (TX-16) launched “Thank You Notes to El Paso Heroes” inviting El Pasoans to submit digital notes and drawings for frontline health care workers fighting to keep the community safe and healthy during the coronavirus outbreak. “El Paso is one of the communities hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and our frontline health care workers have been working around the clock to defeat this deadly virus,” said Congresswoman Escobar. “We can't thank them enough for their dedication, service, and personal sacrifice. That's why my office is launching a digital campaign to show our appreciation for our heroes. This is just one small way for us to express our gratitude and let them know we will always remember their sacrifices.” The digital campaign was announced to constituents today on Congresswoman Escobar’s e-newsletter and is open for submissions at escobar.house.gov/ThankYou until December 22, 2020, at 10:00 p.m. MT. Congresswoman Escobar is partnering with various stakeholders throughout Texas’ 16th congressional district to safely deliver the cards.
