Congresswoman Escobar Delivers Holiday Cards to El Paso Seniors

Congresswoman Escobar announced that, as part of her office’s Holidays for Seniors program, she and her team safely delivered more than 2,000 holiday cards handmade by El Paso children from over 30 area elementary schools.

“The lives of El Paso seniors have been upended by the COVID-19 pandemic and now more than ever, we need to come together to spread holiday cheer,” said Congresswoman Escobar. “I am grateful to every young El Pasoan who took time to craft these beautiful cards and to every teacher who participated in this effort to spread joy and holiday cheer across our community.”

The cards were safely delivered to seniors of Montana Vista Community Center, Chelsea Towers, and seniors participating in the El Paso County’s Senior Nutrition program. The holiday cards were created by children from the following elementary schools:
